Mentor's Guide
This guide helps provide you with information that you can take to your industry supervisor to help familiarize them with the ProStart Program and the internship process.
Employer Agreement
This documents the roles and responsibilities of the student, the employer, the school, and the student's parent or guardian, and contains space for all of these parties' signatures. In order to satisfy the work experience requirements of the ProStart program, a signed copy of this agreement must be on file at the school, and student must adhere to the agreement throughout their ProStart work experience(s).
Interview Questions (sample)
Use this for interview preparation, mock interviews, and to share with potential employers if and when they interview students.
Mentor Survey (sample)
This form asks mentors and worksite employers for their feedback on their experiences in the ProStart program. This is a tool intended to be used to fine tune and improve the program.
Reference Request (sample)
Students can use this to request reference letters from former employers.
Student Letter of Recommendation (sample)
A rough sketch of a letter from a student's mentor or worksite employer to future employers. It should be fleshed out with information specific to each student.
