How do you let your employees know how important food safety is in your establishment? By participating in National Food Safety Education Month!
The NRAEF's International Food Safety Council (IFSC) created this annual campaign in 1994 to heighten the awareness about the importance of food safety education. Each year a new theme and training activities are created for the industry to reinforce proper food safety practices and procedures. In addition, promotional materials are created to let others know what your establishment does on a daily basis to ensure safe food handling.
September is your opportunity to reinforce proper food safety training and to let your customers know food safety is not an option, but an obligation in your establishment.
