Morning Keynote
Where are the Jobs? - Finding Work in Today's Economy
Keynote Speaker: Brad Karsh, President and Founder of JobBound
It's estimated that fewer than 8% of jobs are found over the internet, while 64% are found through networking. Networking is quite simply the best way to land work, yet jobseekers tend to avoid it like the plague. This presentation will review a step-by-step plan to get you the job you want. From who to target and to how to approach them, to conducting yourself on an informational interview and following up, you will leave this session with an incredibly specific plan of attack on networking.
Honoree Forums
These sessions provide you with the opportunity to engage the profession's sharpest thinkers and decision-makers. Through interactive presentations and small group discussions, the industry's most successful leaders offer insight and advice on how to succeed in the restaurant industry. Participants gain rare insight and wisdom via up-close and personal conversations with our Salute to Excellence honorees. You will leave at the end of the day feeling inspired and with a unique knowledge of how to succeed in the industry.

His luncheon presentation will encompass a personal quote: "Nearly every moment of every day we have the opportunity to give something to someone else-our time, our love, our resources. I have always found more joy in giving when I did not expect anything in return." (Quote from Eat Mor Chikin: Inspire More People by S. Truett Cathy, published 2002)
