The National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF) impacts the prosperity of the restaurant industry by developing a stronger workforce and building the next generation of industry leaders.
The National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF) announced today the winners of its 12th annual National ProStart Invitational, which took place in Baltimore, Md., April 19-21. More than 350 top ProStart students from 43 states, territories and Department of Defense bases, competed for their share of $1.4 million in scholarships by demonstrating their mastery of restaurant leadership skills — culinary and management — in a fast-paced competition.
The National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF) honored its 2013 “Restaurant Neighbor” and “Faces of Diversity American Dream” award winners at an April 17 gala during the National Restaurant Association’s Public Affairs Conference in Washington, D.C.
Maneet Chauhan, James Beard award-winning celebrity chef and judge on Food Network’s hit show Chopped, has partnered with the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF) to kick off a national tour to launch her new book, Flavors of My World: A Culinary Tour Through 25 Countries (Favorite Recipes Press: May 1, 2013), co-authored by Doug Singer.
